How to make salmon sushi?
Ingredients:
* 1 cup Sunrice Japanese Style Sushi Rice, rinsed
* 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
* 4 nori sheets (dried, roasted seaweed)
* 1/2 avocado, sliced length ways
* 105g can red salmon, drained, flaked
* 1/2 Lebanese cucumber, cut into thin strips
* 1 small carrot, grated
* Soy sauce, to serve
Steps:
1. Place rice and 1 and 1/2 cup of cold water in a saucepan over high heat.
2. Cover and bring it to the boil.
3. Reduce to low heat and cook for another 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is all soaked up.
4. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
5. Place rice and vinegar in a bowl, and stir to combine the mixture.
6. Allow the rice to cook completely, stirring regularly to prevent rice becoming gluey.
7. Place one nori sheet, shiny side down on a sushi mat.
8. Using moist hands, spread one-quarter of the rice mixture over the nori sheet, leaving a 3cm-wide border around the edges.
9. Slice the avocados into short, rectangular pieces.
10. Place the pieces of avocado along the edge facing you.
11. Then put one piece salmon, cucumber and carrot on top of the avocado.
12. Using the sushi mat, roll up and forward firmly to enclose the filling.
13. Repeat with remaining nori, rice mixture, salmon and vegetables.
14. Slice each roll into four pieces or more depending on the size that you’d like.
15. Wrap in plastic wrap or serve on a plate.
Sushi was first made in Southern Aisa by a Japanese Lady. This is a popular dish in most Asian countries. Does it taste scrumptious and sweet?
WALT write a procedure by following the correct structure.
I know this when I can put the steps in order and use more verbs in my writing.
