Have You Ever Been Inside A Historical Building?

Why Do We Need To Maintain Panmure Cottage?

Cottages can tell the wonderful history about it, it can also tell the generations of whom were living in the cottage. Panmure cottage is a place of ancient history of

Panmure in the 19 Centuries. People can explore and have a look inside the cottage. In there it had a bed with a scary doll on it lying down on the pillow. There were pictures of the people that used to live in the cottage. There were three pictures of three girls that stayed in that room. The dolls were replacement dolls for people back in the olden.

In the cottage there were lots of tools like huge saws, axes and a tiny curved sword. They used the saws and the axe to saw or axe the tree for paper or for wood for the fireplace. They also used coal. In the cottage there is a small kitchen. There was no room for people to play around because the rooms were quit small.

In the kitchen they didn't used a plug, people used to use wood or coal just to cook the food or to heat things up. They also had a puff to blow the tiny fire sparkles to spread around the wood and coal.

The cottage was really nice and antique to look at because it had lots of old accessories from the olden days. There are also a lot of historical pictures of Panmure and the stone cottage.

The Majestic Good Samaritan Comic

We are learning to respond to God by the way they live their lives.
I know I can do this when I can give examples of how we can respond to God through worship.

Gleaming Stars In The Night Sky!

A star is a fixed luminous point in the night sky which is a large round body like the sun. The star is made out of gas, energy, heat and rocks.

The stars can give direction like, North, West, East, South to sailors. The Northern Star and the Southern Cross are the most important stars in the whole world because if we didn't have them, sailors will not be able to tell any direction.

Stars twinkle because while they are producing the energy and gas, they will start to make a lot of pressure inside the stars’ core and start to twinkle brightly. The stars can also twinkle at night, because the sun reflects the star the star and so the star will flash or twinkle in the night.

Stars are important because they can help us navigate through the dark night.

Great Wind Can Give Great Power

Wind is air which can blown from any direction in the air. It is like a current in the sea, but in the air.

Wind is invisible, people can sense or feel wind in the air. Another name for wind is air. The wind is a flow of good and bad gases. The wind can be made by seawater or from space, by moon or solar. The wind gets recharged like a solar powered light, the wind gets charred by the sun. A comes from the atmosphere. The wind is like a fan that blows air that goes in, out, slow or fast around us.

Wind can give energy to places that to have a satellite or internet connection. The wind can blow the windmills spin fast to give energy to a certain area.

What Causes Frost?

A frost is a blizzard that rains down huge white, ice crystals. A frost can also be a really strong wind that brings in the snow. Frost also forms on the ground.

Frost is also a water vapor, the water rises to the clouds then forms plenty of tiny ice crystals. It takes almost a week to fill up the clouds with the white crystals.

When the clouds are full, the clouds get darker then it starts to rain. After a while, it will start to snow a lot. Then the crystals comes out. Sometimes tree branches will freeze and on the branches, long, cold, coned shaped ice will form and hang down below the branches.

It can take hard effects when the weather is windy and when the temperature is below 8 degrees Celsius. Frosts usually happen in the middle of Winter. Frosts mostly happens in the Northern Atmosphere. Frosts can happen to New Zealand and in the North Island.

If frosts happen in hot places, people will be joyful and happy because the sun will melt the ice and evolve into nice, liquid water.

Frost forms due to cold weather and when the weather heats up, frost melts and provide an important water source.

Clouds, Clouds, Everywhere!

What Are Clouds?

Clouds are evaporated water from the ground, they can also be black, grey, white and orange and red blended together.

Clouds can come from factory smoke or evaporated water from the ground. It can be also a visible mass  of liquid droplets.  It can be also be frozen, tiny crystals.

Clouds can from 500 meters from the ground up to 15 000 meters. ( 49 492 Feet) Clouds are usually on troposphere of the atmosphere. Troposphere is  621. 78 meters from the ground.
Troposphere is where the cloud limit is, clouds can’t go any higher than 16,000.

When clouds are red it could be because the sun is setting or the sun is rising in the morning. If the clouds are white it means it will be a fine and sunny day, but if the clouds are black or grey it may start to dribble then to rain hard. But when the clouds are covering the sky with no view from the the sun, that tends to mean that it will rain hard and there might be a hail storm, with thunder and lighting.

Clouds are good for us because without clouds we might not be able to tell what will happen. Will it be a fine day, a stormy day, a breezy day?

The True Meaning Of Lent!

What Is Lent?

The period preceding Easter which is devoted to fasting.

For 40 days Jesus suffered in the desert, he had no food just water.

Lent starts March 5 which is Ash Wednesday and ends April 17, which is Palm Sunday. Lent is a time to say sorry. In Lent we have to give up something important to our lives. But in the future we now use the ashes  to do good actions and good things. For 50 days after Easter we feast.

In the olden days they used sack clothes  and ashes to show their remorse remorse to God, when they to do what Jesus told them in the Bible. They wear the sack and sprinkle ashes on their body. Ashes are made from palm leaves, it gets burned then it gets turn into black, dark ashes.

When we receive the ashes on our foreheads it will remind us to, turn away from sins and wrong doing. We have to follow the right path to God and do the right thing. Lent is color purple because, Jesus wore a purple robe around him.

In April 20 Jesus died for our sins, so we will be able to do good. He suffered on the cross just to save us from evil.

The Thing That Pulls Us Down?

How Does Gravity Work?

Gravity is what pulls us down when we jump.

When we jump we go back down. The thing that pulls us down is gravity. Gravity is a force that always pulls us down, it comes from the Earth’s core.

Every time we jump we come back down, even if you have a trampoline, when you jump really high you will come back down. Gravity causes two objects in the universe to  be attracted towards one another. Gravity is not made of anything it is a force that pull things together.

Gravity is important, because if we don’t have gravity,we will float around and we won’t be able to grab hold of anything. Gravity is super important because it helps us to keep our feet on the ground.
