Save Me George!

this article  George was a hero.
George was a Jack Russell dog who saved five children who were attacked by two Pit-Bulls. The dogs initially targeted the smallest child of the group. George moved the Pit Bulls focus from the child to him.  George risked his life, unfortunately George was bitten so badly, that he had to be put down.

George’s action showed that he was a  loving, determined, and protective dog.  In comparison to the thick build of the Pit Bulls, George was a small dog, but very athletic that meant he was very fast and strong. George knew that thinking and protecting the kids is a good thing, rather than just thinking of himself. The act of George showed that he was a fearless dog even against larger dogs. His actions were also evidence that he was courageous and confident. For the bravery and remembrance of George he was awarded several medals of bravery and a statue of him was sculpted and stands in the town of Manaia in Taranaki.
