Here's How To Survive Being Stranded On An Island!

If stranded on an island here are the steps of what to do to survive.
These are all the steps you will need to survive, including steps of how to make fire and drinkable water.

  1. Stay calm and think.
  2. Find a source of drinkable water.
  3. Build a shelter using wood, leaves, and sticks.
  4. Create a fire for warmth.
  5. Collect big stones and place them in the right order to show SOS. (Save Our Souls)
  6. Find a edible food. (Fish, Bugs)
  7. Create  tools  and weapons to capture fish or animals.
  8. If not saved after 2 weeks, build a strong durable raft to leave the island.

Water Still
  1. Dig a hole in the sand up near the edge of the trees. Deep enough to see damped sand.
  2. Place a container in the center of the hole.
  3. Fill the gaps surrounding the container with anything wet.
  4. Place your plastic sheet over the hole and anchor the sheet in place with larger rocks around the edges.
  5. Place one small rock in the center of the plastic.
  6. Condensation will occur on the underside of the plastic and run to the center, and drip into the container which is drinkable water.

Fire Starter

  1. Find a softwood and cut a groove in its base.
  2. Place some tinder at one end that you will ignite.
  3. Using a hard stick, plow the end up and down this groove to create friction.
  4. The tinder will begins to smolder, blow on it to help fuel the fire catching process.
  5. When the fire catches, place other small twigs on top to help it grow.

WALT write a procedure about Softball.
I know this when I can use adjectives and verbs to interest the reader.

How To Practise Your Softball Passes?


What you need:
  • Softball
  • Large piece of land
  • Partner


Steps:


  1. Stand up with a ball facing your partner, then tell your partner to make a butterfly using their hands.


  1. Then you have to pass the ball by doing an underarm pass. If your partner catches the ball your partner has to pass it back to you.


  1. Then your partner has to move 2 steps backwards for a harder level.


  1. Then you have to do an underarm pass to your partner and if your partner catches it they have to pass back to you again.


  1. You repeat the throws until one of you drops it.


  1. After a certain distance, use overarm throws to pass the ball to each other.


  1. Once the ball drops, you and your partner have to sit down.


  1. Once everyone is out, the next round starts.

9. Keep practicing until you master the overarm and underarm pass.

Try This, It's Tasty And Original!

How to make salmon sushi?

Ingredients:
* 1 cup Sunrice Japanese Style Sushi Rice, rinsed
* 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
* 4 nori sheets (dried, roasted seaweed)
* 1/2 avocado, sliced length ways
* 105g can red salmon, drained, flaked
* 1/2 Lebanese cucumber, cut into thin strips
* 1 small carrot, grated
* Soy sauce, to serve

Steps:
1. Place rice and 1 and 1/2 cup of cold water in a saucepan over high heat.
2. Cover and bring it to the boil.
3. Reduce to low heat and cook for another 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is all soaked up.
4. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
5. Place rice and vinegar in a bowl, and stir to combine the mixture.
6. Allow the rice to cook completely, stirring regularly to prevent rice becoming gluey.
7. Place one nori sheet, shiny side down on a sushi mat.
8. Using moist hands, spread one-quarter of the rice mixture over the nori sheet, leaving a 3cm-wide border around the edges.
9. Slice the avocados into short, rectangular pieces.
10. Place the pieces of avocado along the edge facing you.
11. Then put one piece salmon, cucumber and carrot on top of the avocado.
12. Using the sushi mat, roll up and forward firmly to enclose the filling.
13.  Repeat with remaining nori, rice mixture, salmon and vegetables.
14. Slice each roll into four pieces or more depending on the size that you’d like.
15. Wrap in plastic wrap or serve on a plate.

Sushi was first made in Southern Aisa by a Japanese Lady. This is a popular dish in most Asian countries. Does it taste scrumptious and sweet?

Be Careful Before It's To Late!

WALT make a procedure by putting the steps in order. I know this when I put the steps in order and to make and evaluation.

How To Treat A Sprained Ankle?

Things you will need:
* Ankle Supporter
* Socks
* Ice pack
* Pillow
* Baby Oil
* Warm water
* Towel
* Pain relief cream.

Steps:
1. Take off the things you are wearing on your foot.
2. Test to see if you can move your foot to the left and to the right, just in case it is broken. If you are not able to move your foot, then you need to go to the doctor straight away as it may be broken.
3. Pour warm water on your foot.
4. Use a towel to dry off the water quickly.
5. Place an ice pack on for 20 seconds and take it off for 20 seconds. Continue doing this for 6 minutes.
6. Put baby oil and massage the foot.
7. Spread pain relief cream to stop the pain from hurting you.
8. Put socks on.
9. Put on the ankle support.
10. Take a rest and put pillows under your ankle to elevate the foot. Make sure your ankle is higher than your heart.

If you have followed the steps, then your foot should feel better in 2 weeks and you will be able to walk properly again.

Whoosh! Goes The Raging Kite!

WALT write a procedure writing by putting the steps in order.
I know this when I put the steps in order.

Things you will need:
* 2 bamboo sticks
* A3 paper
* Stickers
* Colored strips of paper
* String


Steps:
1. Draw a big diamond on the A3 piece of paper and cut out the four edges properly.
2. Tie a cross using the sticks, make sure you do a double knot.
3. Pierce 4 holes in the diamond shape in each corner.
4. Tie a string from the left to the right side across the horizontal stick.
5. Tie on four strips of paper in every corner.
6. Find a breeze or light wind to fly your kite.
Does it fly high?

Super, Duper, Healthy Smoothie!

WALT write a procedure by using the correct structure. I know this when I write a recipe and put the steps in order.
Ingredients:
* Strawberries
*  A pinch of white sugar
* 1 & ½ of Milk
* 1 cup strawberry yogurt
* 3 pieces of ice
Materials:
* Knife
* Blender
* Wooden Spoon
* Large Bowl
* Drainer
* Tablespoon

Steps:
1. Wash the strawberries and drain into a large bowl.
2. Slice the strawberries into two equal pieces, make sure you slice off the leaf part.
3. Place the strawberries into the blender.
4. Get the yogurt and pour it in.
5. Mix with the wooden spoon.
6. Pour the milk in, then mix with the spoon.
7. Turn the blender to 1 and count for 5 seconds. Switch the blender off.
8. Open the lid and put the ice and the sugar in.
9. Put the lid back on and then switch the blender to number 2 and wait for 10 seconds and then switch it off.
10. Pour the smoothie into individual cups.
11. If you want it colder, put it in the freezer for about 10-20 minutes.
12. You can also finish it off with a strawberry on top.

If you have done the steps correctly, it should taste healthy, cold and scrumptious!

Yummy, Yummy, Sweet, Donuts!

WALT write a procedure by Putting the steps in order. I now this when I can put the instructions in order.
Ingredients:
* 2 cups of all purpose flour
* ½ cup of sugar
* Pinch of salt
* 1 & ½ tablespoon of baking powder
* 1 egg
* 4 tablespoons of oil
* ¼ cup of milk
* Oil for deep frying
How to make it?
1. Sift flour and baking powder in a large bowl.
2. Add sugar and salt, then mix.
3. In a another bowl slightly beat and egg and mix oil.
4. Mix in flour mixture until crumbly.
5. Stir in milk.
6. With floured hand lightly knead the dough until smooth, then add a little bit of flour.
7. Leave the dough in a large mixing bowl in a warm place for about 2 hours.                       
8. Roll the dough into ¼ inch thickness on a floured surface.                                                    
9. Dip the donuts cutter in flour, use to cut-out donuts.
10. Heat up the oil for deep frying.                                                                                                11. Carefully drop donuts into hot oil, only a few at a time. 12. Fry turning once for 3 minutes or until golden brown. 13. Remove from oil and drain onto paper. 14. Sprinkle with white powder sugar or cinnamon (Not to much) Does it taste crunchy and sweet?
